About Me

Travel has always called to me, but for a long time, fear held me back. Fear of the unknown. Fear of finances. Fear of stepping outside my comfort zone.

In early 2015, life gave me a wake-up call I couldn’t ignore. My dad—my very best friend—was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. His passport was still in the works, and the only place he’d ever ventured outside the U.S. was Mexico, when no passport was required. Cancer took him far too soon in November of that year, and suddenly, I realized just how short and unpredictable life truly is.

I asked myself: what am I waiting for? I’m not promised tomorrow, and neither are you.

My husband and I had long talked about taking a British Isles cruise, but we hadn’t committed. Then one evening, while he watched Braveheart and I scrolled on my phone, I made a spontaneous decision—I put down a $250 deposit on the trip. What started as a 12-day cruise became an 18-day journey across England, Ireland, Scotland, and Northern France. That trip changed everything.

Since then, I’ve traveled extensively across Europe, discovered hidden gems in the Caribbean, and explored the United States with fresh eyes. Along the way, I’ve learned so much about planning, navigating, and fully embracing travel—and I’m here to share it all with you.

Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or just dreaming of your first big adventure, I hope my experiences inspire you to take that step, book that trip, and see the world for yourself. Life is too short to wait.
